When I look at these photos, they remind me of.....
...summer...and vacation...and cold fruity drinks....
...and swimsuits...and the beach...and pony tails...
...and sleeping in...and flip flops...and feeling free...
...and no plans...and swimtrunks...
...and fresh air...and cherry limeades...
...and evening drives with the all the windows down...
...and messy hair...and being alive.

Summer for me is barefoot, playing with the little ones outside, sweating then jumping in cool water, mowing the lawn, and the harvests here: strawberries (June), blackberries (July), and corn (AUG).
When our children were still at home, I thought of summer as time spent outside,swimming, picnics, ballgames etc.., now I think more on the lines of time spent outside,flowers, gardening, picnics, traveling to go see our children and grandchildren. I think I need some new adventures to add to the list. I'm always up for something new to try.

yes. those lights do remind me of summer but mostly when I think of summer I think of grilling and dining outside.
